Parental Involvement

Ongoing communication between parents and staff is highly encouraged. Two formal parent/teacher conferences are conducted during the year. For infants and for children with disabilities, conferences are conducted every three months. On an as needed basis, conferences can be arranged at any time. Teachers are always available for informal conversation each day.

The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), comprised of a president and a parent representative from each classroom, holds monthly meetings during the course of the regular school year to provide vital parental input to the Center’s administration and staff. All parents are encouraged to be active participants. Monthly PAC meetings are open to all parents. A parents’ bulletin board is located in the front entry hall where timely information is posted. Parents are welcome to visit the Center or call at any time. We always appreciate parents volunteering their time for special events.
